This role oversees full project lifecycle execution from conceptual design through commissioning and handover, ensuring delivery within HSE, quality, cost, and schedule targets while aligning with shareholder and corporate standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage major multi-disciplinary oil and gas engineering projects from initiation to commissioning and handover.
• Provide technical input during conceptual development, design review, material specification, procurement, and contract tendering stages.
• Manage Project Management Consultants, contractors, and multinational project teams to ensure effective site supervision and administration.
• Develop and execute project strategies aligned with company objectives and shareholder guidelines.
• Direct project teams across all phases including engineering, procurement, construction, and start-up.
• Ensure full compliance with HSE standards, company procedures, and international engineering codes and practices.
• Oversee budget control, cost forecasting, and authorization of expenditures and variation orders.
• Lead pre-qualification of bidders, tender evaluations, and contractor performance assessments.
• Coordinate financial matters including forecasts, currency requirements, and project cost optimization.
• Monitor technical integrity of surface facilities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare weekly highlights and monthly progress reports covering engineering and construction activities.
• Participate in corporate committees and provide subject matter expertise in assigned fields.
• Advise management on project completion timelines and assist in start-up planning and operational readiness.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 12 years of professional experience in oil and gas project engineering and execution.
• At least 5 years leading multi-disciplinary teams, consultants, and contractors.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, contract management, planning, and cost control.
• PMP certification preferred.
• Proven leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong understanding of HSE compliance and risk management in large-scale oil and gas projects.
