The Senior Project Engineer - Water & Wastewater Treatment will lead the execution of water & wastewater treatment projects. The role involves coordinating with client teams, ensuring technical excellence, cost control, and timely project delivery in compliance with environmental standards and client specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare project execution plans, schedules, and progress reports.
Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Coordinate with clients, consultants, and contractors for technical reviews and approvals.
Review detailed engineering designs including P&IDs, GA drawings, hydraulic profiles, and equipment layouts.
Familiar with biological, chemical, and physical treatment systems (e.g., MBBR, SBR, UF, RO, etc.).
Review vendor drawings and ensure compliance with project and statutory requirements.
Ensure integration of process, mechanical, and electrical design elements.
Prepare technical documentation, datasheets, and BOQs.
Support HAZOP, risk assessments, and quality control procedures.
Prepare technical specifications and evaluate vendor bids.
Participate in vendor pre-qualification, FATs, and inspections.
Support procurement and ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials.
Provide technical support during installation, testing, and commissioning phases.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: B.E. / B.Tech. in Environmental, Chemical, Mechanical
Experience: 8-15 years of experience in design and execution of water& wastewater treatment
Proven track record of working on EPC / Design-Build projects.
Familiarity with relevant design software (AutoCAD, STAAD, WaterCAD, or similar).
Knowledge of environmental and safety regulations.
Key Skills:
Strong technical expertise in water & wastewater treatment processes (biological, chemical, and advanced treatment).
Project management and coordination skills.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Analytical and problem-solving mindset.
Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project/Primavera.
