Job Description

The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing fit-out projects for restaurants and office spaces. The role includes coordinating with designers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project completion within the given timeframe, budget, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:Project Planning & Execution:

Review project scope, drawings, and specifications to ensure feasibility and compliance. Assist in project scheduling, work breakdown structure, and resource planning. Monitor daily site activities and ensure work progresses as per the timeline. Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure material availability. Ensure MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) and civil works align with fit-out requirements.

Quality & Compliance:

Conduct site inspections and ensure all works meet safety and quality standards. Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, permits, and approvals. Assist in conducting quality checks and resolving any project-related technical issues.

Coordination & Communication:

Act as a key point of contact between project stakeholders, including clients, consultants, and contractors. Attend project meetings, provide progress reports, and resolve any technical challenges. Coordinate with procurement teams for timely delivery of materials.

Cost & Budget Management:

Monitor project budgets and control costs effectively. Verify material orders and invoices to avoid discrepancies. Identify any potential risks and suggest cost-saving solutions without compromising quality.

Handover & Documentation:

Ensure proper documentation of project progress, variations, and approvals. Assist in project handover, snagging, and rectification works. Prepare final reports and as-built drawings for project close-out.

Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.

Experience:

5 years of experience in fit-out projects, specifically in restaurants and office spaces.

Skills & Competencies:

UAE DRIVING LICENSE IS A MUST

Strong understanding of fit-out execution, materials, and finishing details. Knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera, or other project management tools. Ability to handle multiple projects and work under pressure. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
