This role requires extensive experience in procurement and proficiency in SAP software. The Senior Procurement Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring efficient, cost-effective, and compliant procurement operations.

Vendor Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers to build a robust and diverse vendor base.

Sourcing: Source and select suppliers based on factors such as quality, cost, reliability, and compliance with procurement regulations.

SAP Utilization: Leverage SAP software for end-to-end procurement processes, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and contract management.

Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms and conditions while minimizing risks.

Cost Management: Monitor procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.

Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and best practices.

Supplier Relationships: Cultivate positive relationships with suppliers to maintain open communication and address any issues or disputes promptly.

Data Analysis: Utilize SAP to analyze procurement data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.

Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve procurement effectiveness.

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to align procurement strategies with organizational goals.

Requirements

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).

Minimum of 7 years of experience in procurement, with proficiency in SAP or similar procurement software.

Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, industry standards, and regulations.

Excellent negotiation and contract management skills.
