Our client, a well-established and highly respected IT conglomerate with decades of successful operations in the UAE, is seeking a Senior PMO Director to be based in Abu Dhabi.
This executive leadership role will hold full accountability for P&L performance and delivery governance across a complex consulting technology portfolio spanning multiple operating companies. The position requires a strategic leader capable of driving execution excellence, financial performance, and portfolio transparency across large-scale enterprise programs.

Salary- 40,000- 50,000 AED
Job Summary:
The Senior Director, PMO is accountable for delivery governance across the consulting technology portfolio spanning multiple operating companies within the group.
This role serves as the single point of accountability for project execution excellence, portfolio transparency, financial discipline, and customer outcomes.
The position leads the community of Project and Program Managers, establishes delivery standards, drives execution predictability, and provides the Divisional CEO with accurate, decision-ready reporting across schedule, cost, risk, and revenue realization.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Portfolio Leadership

• Own the consolidated view of all active and pipeline engagements
• Prioritize initiatives in alignment with strategic and financial objectives
• Optimize resource allocation across entities and programs
• Establish governance forums, stage gates, and structured escalation paths

2. Delivery Assurance

• Oversee full project lifecycle from initiation to closure
• Intervene in challenged programs requiring recovery or executive steering
• Ensure active management of dependencies, scope, risks, and change control
• Maintain high customer satisfaction and strengthen reference ability

3. Financial Management

• Align delivery execution plans with commercial and contractual terms
• Drive milestone achievement required for invoicing and revenue realization
• Improve margin performance through scope, effort, and cost discipline
• Partner with Finance to enhance forecasting accuracy and predictability

4. PM Capability & Organizational Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop the project management community
• Define competency frameworks and structured career pathways
• Standardize templates, tools, reporting standards, and governance models
• Build a culture of accountability, ownership, and transparency

5. Executive Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement

• Provide CEO-level dashboards covering portfolio health, risk exposure, and revenue performance
• Translate complex delivery matters into clear executive decisions
• Support strategic bids and executive reviews where delivery credibility is critical

Qualifications and Experience:

• 10-15 years of Senior leadership experience running a PMO or managing large portfolios in IT services or consulting environments or within IT System integration enviornment
• Proven track record managing managers within multi-entity or multi-business unit delivery structures
• Experience managing fixed-price and milestone-driven contracts
• Demonstrated ability to recover and stabilize challenged programs
• Technical & Methodological Background
• Strong understanding of enterprise technology delivery models
• Experience operating across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid environments
• Familiarity with common project management and collaboration platforms

• Comfortable with direct accountability for financial and delivery metrics
