Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled and multi task plumber to join our growing team. As a Plumber at True Guard Maintenance Services, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various sites. This role requires technical expertise, a strong understanding of local codes and safety practices, and a proactive approach to customer service and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

:

Plumbing Services: Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, water heaters, boilers, and drainage systems for residential and commercial properties. Code Compliance: Ensure all plumbing work complies with local building codes, OSHA standards, and required permits. Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve plumbing issues such as leaks, clogs, pressure imbalances, and equipment malfunctions. Preventive Maintenance: Conduct regular inspections and provide maintenance to prevent system failures and prolong equipment life. Tool & Equipment Proficiency: Operate standard plumbing tools and diagnostic equipment safely and efficiently (pipe cutters, soldering torches, pressure gauges, etc.). Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD diagrams to plan and execute plumbing installations and repairs. Emergency Response: Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, such as burst pipes or sewage system failures. Sustainable Solutions: Recommend and install water-efficient fixtures and systems to support sustainability and reduce water usage. Physical Requirements: Lift heavy materials, work in confined spaces, and stand or move for extended periods during job tasks Communicate clearly and respectfully with clients, team members, and vendors; ensure customer satisfaction and professional conduct on every job.

Requirements

:

3-5 years of experience in plumbing (residential and/or commercial) Valid plumbing license or certification (as per local authority requirements) In-depth knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and safety standards Proficient in using plumbing tools and equipment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Valid driver's license preferred
