This Senior Planning Engineer role focuses on schedule development, risk evaluation, and performance monitoring for complex building projects across Abu Dhabi. Key Responsibilities

• Review and approve baseline schedules in accordance with contract requirements and Parsons standards
• Validate resource allocation and forecast realistic timelines for building project completion
• Develop integrated master schedules combining multiple work packages and dependencies
• Analyze progress updates, identify slippage risks, and recommend corrective and recovery actions
• Conduct "What-if" assessments to evaluate the impact of design changes, variations, or potential risks
• Prepare monthly and milestone-based reports, including schedule analysis and executive summaries
• Lead detailed reviews of contractor claims such as EOTs and disruption using industry-standard delay methodologies
• Coordinate directly with client teams to finalize schedules, reports, and claims evaluations
• Participate in kick-off, technical, interface, and progress review meetings, preparing clear minutes and action tracking
• Maintain schedule risk logs, issue trackers, and performance measurement dashboards
• Agree on PMS indicators with contractors and ensure accurate progress measurement
• Provide analytical responses to contractor notices backed by program data and contractual requirements
• Maintain organized, auditable project scheduling records
• Issue formal delay notices related to performance deviations
• Guide and supervise junior planning engineers to ensure consistent, high-quality schedule outputs

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Minimum 10 years of experience in planning and scheduling for building projects
• Strong background in quantitative schedule risk analysis, EOT claims, and delay methodologies
• Deep understanding of building design processes and construction sequencing
• Proven ability to develop integrated reporting systems at both project and program level using Power BI
