We are currently looking for Senior Officer - Data Operations for our UAE operations with the following terms & conditions.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent
Experience and Skills
Professional Qualifications
Qualified Data Engineer
Work Experience
Minimum 3-4 years post qualification experience preferably in banking industry.
Commercially minded with strong modelling and analysis skills
Sound knowledge of relational and dimensional modelling concepts
Experience with leading data modelling and ETL tools and enterprise data model development in financial services organization
Personal Attributes:

Strong analytical skills and methodical approach to problem solving
Effective contribution in decision making / problem solving
Able to delegate / work under pressure
Technical Competencies
Financial Control and Accounting- Finance- Basic

Key Accountabilities
DATA OPERATIONS & MANAGEMENT

• Support and maintain the conceptual, logical and physical data models as per data modelling policy standards and work very closely to the Data Modeller to understand existing data landscape that will help in design decisions during the model development.
• Support and Develop best practices for standard naming conventions and coding practices to ensure consistency with the data models.
• Support, optimize and update logical and physical data models to support new and existing projects as necessary and communicate the change impact to relevant teams.

Master Data Management (MDM)

Support the ongoing compliance with the MDM strategy of the organization and implementation
of the standards required as part of the new initiatives. Also support the ongoing management
of the existing data sets and maintenance of the data catalogue.

Data Warehouse
Provide support to ensure that the storage of the data in the Enterprise Data Warehouse (EDW) is in line with the standards documented as part of the procedures. Periodic housekeeping & maintenance of the data warehouse is performed to enhance performance and resilience
Other Accountabilities
Business Intelligence
In line with the organization's business intelligence and data analytics road-map, co-ordinate with the data stewards / officers in managing and interpretation of large volumes of data using
business analytical tools/ technologies
Ongoing participation in the various projects to ensure implementation of the desired objectives to cater to the internal/external reporting requirements
Job Context
The roles also contributes in providing support to the stakeholders in troubleshooting day-today report related issues/anomalies produced through the data mart.
