Job Description

Job Purpose:

To prepare detailed and accurate MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) drawings, layouts, and as-built documentation in coordination with engineers, architects, and site teams, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

????o?????Prepare coordinated MEP shop drawings based on design drawings and project requirements.

????o?????Review and interpret project specifications, design drawings, and technical data.

????o?????Coordinate between architectural, structural, and MEP services to avoid clashes.

????o?????Develop detailed sections, schematics, and installation drawings for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

????o?????Update and maintain drawing records and revisions as per site conditions and consultant comments.

????o?????Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings for project handover.

????o?????Ensure that drawings comply with applicable codes, standards, and company procedures.

????o?????Liaise with engineers, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure drawing accuracy and constructability.

????o?????Participate in design coordination and technical meetings as required.

Qualifications & Experience:

????o?????Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or related field.

????o?????Minimum 5-8 years of experience as an MEP Draftsman, with at least 2-3 years in a senior role.

????o?????Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (MEP), and other drafting software.

????o?????Strong knowledge of MEP systems, design standards, and coordination procedures.

????o?????Good communication and organizational skills.
