Senior Mechanical Inspector (Static & Rotating Equipment)

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• More than 15 years' experience in the Oil and Gas field projects including experience in activities relevant to rotating equipment and machinery, including pumps, turbines, compressors, and engines.
• Must be experienced as Site TPI for inspection and monitoring of mechanical works related to rotating (pumps, compressors, turbines) and static equipment (pressure vessels, heat exchangers, tanks, boilers).
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, isometrics, datasheets, P&IDs, and technical specifications.
• Ensure equipment is installed and aligned per manufacturer specifications and project procedures (shaft alignment, grouting, soft foot, etc.).
• Witness equipment testing such as hydrostatic testing, pneumatic testing, mechanical run tests, and alignment checks.
• Monitor welding, fabrication, assembly, and erection of mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with WPS, PQR, and project specifications.
• Verify material certificates, inspection and test reports (ITRs), and documentation as per ITPs.
• Very good knowledge of spoken and written English language including writing of technical reports.
• Computer literate and familiarity with International Standards related to Mechanical activities (ASME, API, ASTM, BS, etc.)
• Holding UAE Driving license.
