Senior Mechanical Engineer
Job Description
One Works is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer with strong construction supervision expertise to join our team in our Dubai-office and support a high-profile airport project in the region. The successful candidate will play a key role in overseeing and managing on-site MEP construction activities and ensuring the contractor's work complies with design specifications, industry standards, and project requirements.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline; Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum 15 years of total experience in mechanical engineering, including at least 5 years in airport projects.
Proven experience in construction supervision and site-based roles, specifically within the MEP domain.
Previous experience in leading engineering teams and coordinating with multiple stakeholders on large-scale infrastructure projects.
Solid understanding of local and international mechanical codes and standards.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to guide junior engineers and inspectors.
UAE/GCC experience required.
Familiarity with BIM workflows is advantageous.
Familiarity with Aconex for project documentation and correspondence, and Proficient AutoCAD skills.
Excellent command of written and spoken English.
