Job Description

We are currently seeking a highly skilled

Senior Mechanical Engineer

to join our team and contribute to our ongoing and upcoming projects. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical aspects of construction projects, ensuring technical accuracy, compliance with local standards, and timely execution. T

he ideal candidate should possess minimum 6 years of UAE contracting experience, demonstrate leadership qualities, and be capable of immediately integrating into our project teams.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

: Lead and manage mechanical engineering projects from design phase through construction and commissioning.

Design & Technical Review

: Review and approve mechanical drawings, specifications, and technical submittals in accordance with project requirements.

Coordination

: Liaise with architects, structural engineers, electrical engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems.

Site Supervision

: Conduct regular site inspections to monitor installation quality, safety compliance, and progress.

Procurement & Material Management

: Collaborate with procurement teams to select appropriate materials and ensure timely delivery.

Cost Control

: Assist in budgeting, cost estimation, and variation management.

Compliance & Safety:

Ensure all work adheres to UAE local codes, standards, and safety regulations.

Team Leadership

: Mentor and supervise junior engineers, draft technical reports, and facilitate technical meetings.

Problem Solving

: Address and resolve technical issues promptly to avoid project delays.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. Minimum of 6 years UAE experience in a contracting environment, with a proven track record of successful project delivery. Strong knowledge of UAE building codes, standards, and safety regulations. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office, and relevant engineering software. Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Immediate availability to join is highly preferred.
