Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer (For MEP - Construc on Company)

Job Summary:

The Senior Mechanical Engineer is responsible for overseeing and managing mechanical systems on

MEP construc on projects. With 4-6 years of relevant experience, the engineer is expected to

supervise site works, manage labors and subcontractors, coordinate with other disciplines and ensure

the successful execu on of HVAC, pluming and firefigh ng systems in line with projects specifica ons,

melines and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

? Supervise and manage on site installa on of HVAC, plumbing and firefigh ng systems,

ensuring compliance with drawings, specifica ons and relevant standards.

? Oversee labor teams and subcontractors, ensuring quality of workmanship, produc vity and

adherence for safety protocols.

? A-end technical and coordina on mee ngs with consultants, main contractors, and project

stakeholders to resolve designs or execu on issues.

? Review and interpret mechanical shop drawings, specifica ons, and method statements,

provides guidance to site teams accordingly.

? Monitor daily site schedules, manpower, and material usage to avoid delays and ensure mely

comple on.

? Perform daily site inspec ons and prepare progress reports, inspec ons requests (WIR/MIR)

and material status updates.

? Ensure proper installa on of mechanical systems including ductwork, chilled/hot water

piping, drainage and water supply systems, pumps, valves, tanks and firefigh ng components.

? Coordinate with electrical, civil and structural teams to manage service integra on and avoid

site conflicts.

? Assist in the tes ng and commissioning and final handover of mechanical systems in

coordina on with QA/QC teams and third-party agencies.

? Enforce HSE regula ons and conduct toolbox talks to ensure a safe work environment.

Qualifications:

? Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

? 4-6 years of experience in mechanical site execu ons within MEP construc on projects.

? Strong knowledge in HVAC, plumbing and fire protec on systems.

? Familiarity with interna onal codes such as ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA and local construc on

regula ons.

? Proficient in AutoCAD, MS office, and basic knowledge of Revit or BIM is a plus.

? Experience working in high rise buildings, commercial or infrastructure projects is preferred.

Preferred Certifications:

? OSHA, NEBOSH, or similar HSE training

? PMP or construc on management training is an added advantage.
