As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for the management and delivery of all mechanical components for the design of a number of Built Environment projects across the Unit.
Key responsibilities and duties are listed, but not limited to, the below:
Preparation of mechanical design components including air distribution, HVAC and piping systems and any other specialty mechanical systems
Review conducting primary technical reviews on design deliverables related to electrical equipment/system design and calculations
Development of concept studies for the project detailing types of systems, cost implications and alternatives available
Coordinate with all disciplines and external stakeholders to ensure the layout of MEP services are feasible
Provide technical input to consultants as and when required
Ensure the development of required documentation for the review process in order to include comments, recommendations and corrective action plans for the prime contractor as appropriate

Candidate specifications:
Degree (BEng/BSc/BE) in Mechanical engineering from an accredited university; membership (or working towards) to a professional institution
Demonstrable experience of working on building mechanical components including HVAC, piping systems etc
Awareness of Autodesk Revit and BIM would be advantageous
Demonstrable experience of coordinating with other disciplines and multiple stakeholders across geographies
Ability to present design scheme and discuss design issues with clients, architects and other stakeholders
Continuously looking for innovations and improvements to manage workload and accomplish deliverables across individuals, teams and projects
