Grow the MENA Samsung business by managing the channel and retail strategy execution and building capability across MENA into a key competitive advantage for Samsung. Role and Responsibilities
Position Responsibilities:
Develop regional channel (go-to-market) strategy starting for distributors to the retail shop front (Priority for TV and Domestic Appliances)
Link retail execution into business sellout results to improve ROI.
Drive the right in-store portfolio management, key account management; criteria based incentive schemes across channels.
Engage with the regional Samsung teams and distributors to build the distributor and channel infra/organization capability
Build Key Account strategy, JBP guide and capability and regional-roll out plan
Supervise the Samsung Brand Shops Store Channel strategy, target, and expansion plan
Responsible for Tracking the retail strategy execution across MENA markets, but translating the strategy into execution KPIs and setting scorecard with market targets
Manager of Retail CM Team including Training and Samsung filed force/promoter team.
Setup and keep updating quarterly plans for Channel marketing activities with team / business partners and follow-up execution (retail shop management)
Indirectly supervise, lead and support field marketing teams in MENA markets
Make periodic market surveys to get feedback from dealers and end-users and propose ideas accordingly to enhance continuously the channel management and operations
Ensure best in industry shop display through the collaboration and communication between retail staff, merchandisers, third party agencies and distributors.
Analyze retail data, develop insights and report to management with actionable recommendations.
Implement, check and maintain Samsung retail guideline standards
Actively monitor & report retail market intelligence and make recommendations to management.
Liaise with suppliers for new store display implementation.
Support production and implementation of all non-retail public & trade marketing events such as road shows, dealer launches, product launches etc.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential skills and experience:
At least 10-12 years and above experience in sales operations, account management, and retail marketing experience with experience in managing a team of subordinates
Team-player with strong engagement skills, including at C-suite level
Business experience in the MENA markets
Preferred working experience in multinational Electronics/FMCG in the sales department or retail customer key accounts.
Should have good experience in managing teams of merchandisers in a retail environment
Multi-tasking skills essential to cope during busy and stressful periods.
Good ability to work under pressure.
Qualifications (Experience, Education, Licensure & language skills)
Bachelor degree in sales/marketing
Fluent in Arabic and English
