Our client, a prestigious government entity based in Abu Dhabi, is seeking an accomplished Senior Manager to lead their IT Infrastructure operations
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the design, implementation, and management of IT infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, and cloud services
- Lead IT service delivery, ensuring optimal performance of service desk operations and vendor management
- Manage end-to-end IT projects, from procurement and configuration to deployment and support
- Drive the migration of on-premise systems to cloud solutions while ensuring data security and compliance
- Develop and implement InfoSec policies, conduct audits, and oversee cybersecurity measures
- Lead disaster recovery planning, data backup, and vulnerability assessments
- Ensure IT assets and processes comply with ISO and ITIL standards
- Provide expert technical advice on infrastructure improvements and system upgrades
- Monitor and enhance system performance through regular maintenance and reporting
Requirements:
- 10 plus years of experience in IT infrastructure and service delivery, with expertise in multi-cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Google)
- Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CCNA, MCP, MCSE, or MCSA are highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of ITIL processes, ISO standards, and cybersecurity best practices
- Proven ability to lead complex projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a focus on technology transformation
