Overview

Reporting to the Director, Clinical Applications, the Senior Manager, Clinical Applications role is responsible for managing and supporting clinical Information Technology (IT) applications across MH, as well as overseeing the
activities of the applications\xe2\x80\x99 lifecycle including but not limited to configuration, updates, testing, quality assurance, deployment and provision of maintenance and support to ensure that applications are fully ready and meet the users
requirements towards achieving the organization and business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages the implementation of the division\xe2\x80\x99s strategic and operational goals and continuously monitor progress towards their achievement.
• Prepares the division\'s yearly budget and control costs to ensure adherence to the allocated budget.

• Ensures people, financial and technological resources within the division are utilized effectively.
• Develops, reviews and ensures the implementation of the division\'s policies and procedures in line with best practices to fulfill the overall organizational requirements.
• Keeps up to date with the latest developments in the wider healthcare arena.
• Drives meetings and ensure professionalism and confidentiality are maintained at all times as per the organization\'s standard code of conduct.

• In depth experience in Electronic medical systems and associated workflow of Tier 1 EMR\xe2\x80\x99s such as EPIC or Cerner
• Act as an SME to resolve arising technical issues in EMR build issues and past proven experience as an architect
• Hands on experience in API\xe2\x80\x99s and integration
• Strong knowledge on HL7 / Healthcare interoperability
• Manages all phases of clinical applications and related systems\xe2\x80\x99 life cycle including design, development, implementation, modification, planning, estimating, feasibility testing and evaluation to ensure the

system meets business requirements while aligning to relevant
regulations and frameworks.

• Develops plans and monitors clinical applications implementation and performance, as well as installation of related software

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s Degree in Information Technology or related fields

• 10+ years of progressive career experience inclusive of 7+ years management experience or 10+ years of progressive professional experience developed through

• Experience in an IT operational environment, application support, IT project life cycle or related fields

PREFERRED

• Master\xe2\x80\x99s Degree

• ITIL V3 Foundation level

• Fluency in written and spoken Arabic
