To manage all aspects of passenger catering operational and logistics for flydubai in Dubai and outstations for scheduled and adhoc services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Leads, designs, develops and implements catering operations, material planning and logistics as required to support the flydubai operation, including oversight of the daily operation.
2. Develops an organisation structure to support all aspects of flydubai\xe2\x80\x99s catering logistics operation.
3. Establishes and continually improves all required operational processes.
4. Provides the tools and mentoring to ensure safe work practices are employed and food-safety is employed throughout the operation.
5. Prepares and controls annual budgets in liaison with the HOD. Manages the actuals based on Finance inputs.
6. Cooperates closely with Inflight Services to ensure deliverability of catering product.
7. Liaises with internal departments to ensure all licences and statutory requirements are fulfilled and maintained.
8. Plans the development of additional facilities and operations adequate to support flydubai\xe2\x80\x99s long term catering requirements.
9. Develops and plans menus for customers to meet regional and time of day specifics.
10. Liaises with all relevant departments to gauge and monitor customer reactions to product and provide solutions where gaps are found.
11. Maintains links and ties with industry groups, airline associates in similar airlines and organisations and keep abreast of industry trends and directions.
Degree or equivalent in Hospitality/Food Service field; post-graduate qualifications desirable.

Systems, Licensing, Language or Certification Requirements
Must have a working knowledge of HACCP and be certified or have completed certified training.
Qualifications to join IFSA or similar body \xe2\x80\x93 membership not imperative.
Ability to obtain a Permanent Pass for Dubai Airports and hold or obtain a current Dubai Driving Licence that can be used to obtain a Dubai Airports Airside Driving Permit
Highly proficient (advanced level) in Microsoft Office and proficient in the use of technology assisted Management Tools \xe2\x80\x93 Galley Planning/Catering Management platforms.
Requires Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
