Masdar is the UAE\xe2\x80\x99s clean energy champion and one of the largest companies of its kind in the world, advancing the development and deployment of renewable energy and green hydrogen technologies to address global sustainability challenges. Established in 2006, Masdar is today active in over 40 countries, helping them to achieve their clean energy objectives and advance sustainable development. Masdar is jointly owned by Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC), Mubadala Investment Company (Mubadala), and Abu Dhabi National Energy Company (TAQA), and under this ownership the company is targeting a renewable energy portfolio capacity of at least 100 gigawatts (GW) by 2030 and an annual green hydrogen production capacity of up to 1 million tonnes by the same year.



To contribute to business development activities in green hydrogen projects within Masdar which includes leading all green hydrogen business development activities in Europe that could serve the domestic market as well as the global demand by bringing together a range of skill sets to identify and/or create investment opportunities, generate deals and manage business relationships with partners and stakeholders in line with the Masdar green hydrogen strategy and ICSP.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications: \xe2\x80\xa2 MBA or relevant Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree from a top-tier internationally recognized higher education institution \xe2\x80\xa2 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical/Process), Science, Economics or any other related field

Additional Information

Preferred Experience: \xe2\x80\xa2 At least 10 years of business development experience within the energy sector (clean and traditional), chemicals, utilities, major multinational industrial development, high tech manufacturing company or major EPC company with hands-on experience in project origination, development, and implementation \xe2\x80\xa2 Successful track record of origination, development and portfolio management of private equity backed companies \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience relevant to the region of assignment is essential \xe2\x80\xa2 Proven track record of developing and delivering large scale business and investment opportunities (significant CAPEX & OPEX) in relevant industries \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in alternative energy technologies and clean power is an advantage \xe2\x80\xa2 Commercial/consulting experience in hydrogen and derivatives or adjacent industries \xe2\x80\xa2 Previous technical and site experience in hydrogen and derivatives is an advantage \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to operate in an international environment and the ability to adapt to different cultural situations Exposure to target markets in Europe, the US and Asia (esp. Japan, South Korea) is seen as a plus
