Job Title Senior Manager -Banking Finance /Risk and Regulatory- FAAS -UAE

Description

To continue the successful growth of our FAAS FS team, we are looking for new colleagues seeking to engage on complex finance transformation, accounting, regulatory and reporting issues.
You will become part of an international and inclusive team, where you will play a critical role in building a better working world for our people, for our clients and for our communities. As a Manager/Senior manager in the FAAS FS team, you will be involved in advising our FS clients (e.g., banks and insurance companies) on a wide range of finance and regulatory topics, including supporting with transformation projects (e.g., implementing new regulatory requirements) as well as supporting with ad hoc finance and regulatory matters. Examples of support that you will be providing to clients, include:

• Assessing frameworks against regulatory requirements and good market practices, and advising clients on how to improve these
• Advising clients on the areas of ICAAP and ILAAP.
• Support clients in assessing the impact of current and future regulatory standards within MENA on their business and processes as well as conduct qualitative and/or quantitative impact assessments.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• in Law, Economics, (quantitative) Finance, business administration or a comparable field
• Minimum on 7- 14 years working experience in the financial services sector
• You possess knowledge, understanding and experience of Basel standards, GCC local prudential regulation or other regulatory topics
• Excellent communication skills both business as well as technical
• The ability to translate regulatory requirements and support with solving client's problems
• Supervising and coaching junior team members to ensure that they are able to continue developing both professionally and personally
• Should have team handling and project management experience

Ideally, you'll also have

• Masters or MBA qualification
• Track record with a leading Consulting firm
