Senior Manager - Accounts Receivable

Job Purpose

The Senior Manager - Accounts Receivable will lead and oversee the Accounts Receivable (AR) function for a leading real estate developer in Dubai. The role requires strong expertise in receivables management, collections, and credit control with proven experience in real estate. The position will drive process excellence, ensure timely collections, and manage a high-performing AR team, while leveraging Salesforce and ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Microsoft Dynamics).

Key Responsibilities

Lead the AR function including invoicing, collections, reconciliations, customer statements, and reporting. Develop and implement AR policies, processes, and controls to ensure accurate and timely revenue recognition. Manage customer accounts, monitor payment schedules, and drive proactive collections to minimize outstanding receivables. Oversee the preparation of aging reports, collection forecasts, and AR performance dashboards for senior management. Collaborate closely with sales, leasing, and property management teams to resolve disputes and accelerate cash inflow. Ensure strict compliance with IFRS, UAE VAT regulations, and internal audit requirements. Oversee reconciliation of AR balances with the general ledger and ensure accurate month-end / year-end closing. Optimize AR processes through automation and ERP tools (Salesforce, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics). Mentor and manage the AR team, fostering accountability and performance excellence. Support senior management in cash flow planning, credit risk assessment, and financial strategy.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's, CPA, ACCA, or CA preferred).

Minimum 8 years of experience in Accounts Receivable

with at least

5 years in real estate development

in the UAE/GCC. Proven expertise in receivables, collections, and credit management for large-scale projects. Strong working knowledge of Salesforce and major ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / Microsoft Dynamics). In-depth knowledge of IFRS, VAT compliance, and real estate industry practices. Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills with ability to influence stakeholders. Results-driven mindset with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
