Overview / Responsibilities

Wood is currently sourcing for Senior Maintenance Engineer (Electrical, Mechanical and Instrument) to be part of a placement in an ADNOC project in Abu Dhabi for 6 months contract with a possibility of an extension.

Reports to Position: Lead Maintenance Engineer Division/SBU: OMS Function: Maintenance

Objective: Executing assigned scopes of work Providing discipline expertise to the business Accountabilities Execute assigned personal objectives with limited direct guidance and supervision Adhere to and comply with relevant discipline specific OMS and client procedures in execution of work activities. Provide feedback for continuous improvement of aforementioned procedures, if applicable Undertake review of peer and junior personnel work in accordance with OMS Review and checking procedure Under instruction from Lead Maintenance Engineer, delegate tasks to junior personnel Provide coaching and mentoring of junior position personnel directly assigned by Lead Maintenance Engineer Provide discipline technical support to the wider OMS business Provide discipline specific input to scope definition and execution for new project work scopes Ensure self awareness of relevant regulatory framework, legislation changes, initiatives, and industry technology developments Clearly communicate any identified improvements to service execution to Lead Maintenance Engineer Performance Indicators (Indicative) Effective delivery of assigned work scopes in accordance with applicable OMS or client Process and Procedures Attain and sustain Senior Maintenance Engineer competency Agree and action personal 'My Success Plan' with Lead Maintenance Engineer [IF APPLICABLE] Define and action personal development plan towards next career position

Performance Working Relationship Internal: Establish and maintain effective working relationships and communicate across the business, project, contract, and discipline interfaces Networking and knowledge sharing External: Maintain awareness of external stakeholders including: industry bodies, academia, vendors, client interface (as appropriate and requested) Level of Influence and Decision Making Authority:

As delegated by Lead Maintenance Engineer and in accordance with Wood limits defined within the Delegation of Authority. Skills / Qualifications

Qualifications, Experience and Skills;

Minimum Qualifications: BSc, B.Eng, HNC, HND or equivalent with industrial experience in applicable maintenance discipline Or NVQ or equivalent trade based qualification with hands on industrial experience in applicable maintenance discipline Sound knowledge of SAP / CMMS for delivery solutions and Asset maintenance requirements Experience of SAP / CMMS data manipulation and analysis of maintenance history information Minimum Experience: Demonstrable balance of industrial experience at relevant level and position Job-Specific Skills: Intellectually capable, can apply maintenance theory in a practical context Diligent and dependable in consistent application of established process Professional demeanor with appropriate interpersonal skills Good team working skills Good written communication [technical report writing] General Adhere to Company Core Values and Ethics Policy Discipline Specific Develop, review, and modify maintenance procedures Assign equipment specific Tag Numbers to asset items in accordance with applicable procedures Develop, review, and modify hierarchal equipment asset structures in accordance with applicable procedures Develop, review, and modify maintenance task lists in accordance with applicable procedures Assign resources and supporting activities required to undertake specified maintenance activities Develop performance assurance maintenance tasks aligned to safety case performance standard requirements Apply maintenance criticality assessment to asset systems and equipment items Note: Refer to OMS Maintenance Knowledge Tables for detailed listing of competency activities.
