Senior Legal Counsel, Transactional Corporate Deals Taylor Root are working with a leading listed company in Dubai with a strong track record of success and growth. Recent investment and business development has spurred them onto a new growth phase, meaning the in-house legal department needs to grow. They are now looking to hire a new Senior Legal Counsel with strong transactional corporate work, to help them with upcoming M&A, incoming / outgoing investments, as well as portfolio asset IPO\xe2\x80\x99s.
Role and responsibilities:
  • Review, draft, and negotiate various commercial contracts and agreements.
  • Conduct legal due diligence and risk assessments on M&A and investment transactions.
  • Prepare and file legal documents related to IPO\xe2\x80\x99s.
  • Advise management on legal and regulatory compliance issues.
  • Deputise for the General Counsel in their absence.
Candidate requirements:
  • Common law qualified with an international standard law firm.
  • Minimum of 7 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience as a lawyer, with a focus onto corporate deals, M&A, investments, and IPO\xe2\x80\x99s.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
