Role and responsibilities:
- Assist business units with bid-submissions and financial closings.
- Work with financing institutions and lenders\xe2\x80\x99 counsel.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to junior team members.
- Identify legal risks and issues and suggest ways to mitigate them.
- Develop, update, and maintain project finance agreements.
- Interact with senior management regarding legal matters.
- You\xe2\x80\x99ll ideally need to be a project finance lawyer with around 4-10 years of PQE.
- It\xe2\x80\x99s essential that you\xe2\x80\x99ve worked in an international law firm environment.
- It\xe2\x80\x99s possible that broader finance lawyers might also fit, but you\xe2\x80\x99ll need to have very strong transactional deals.
- Exposure to utilities, O&G and heavy industry is very important.
- No need to be based in the Middle East right now, but strong common law jurisdiction experience is important.
