Description
Provide legal advice on acquisitions, leases, joint ventures, and development contractsConduct thorough legal due diligence and identify regulatory risksCollaborate with internal teams and external counsel to manage legal aspects of transactionsLiaise with government entities to ensure project complianceResolve legal disputes through negotiation, settlement, or litigationSupport zoning, permitting, and land use matters for development projectsDevelop internal legal policies and deliver training on real estate law and risk management
Profile
8 - 10 years PQE with a mix of law firm and in-house experience.Qualified in a common law jurisdiction (UK, Ireland, Australia, NZ, South Africa)Strong understanding of UAE real estate laws, zoning, and development regulationsExperience in real estate or development sectors is an advantage.Proven leadership and stakeholder management skillsExcellent negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilitiesExperience advising senior management and working with regulatory bodiesAbility to work under pressure and manage complex legal issues independently
