The Land Surveyor is responsible for conducting field surveys, geodetic calculations, and verifying site layouts to ensure accurate project execution. This role involves setting out works, verifying control points, conducting measurements, and maintaining survey records. The Land Surveyor works closely with engineers, contractors, and project teams to ensure compliance with design specifications and construction plans.
2. RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform land and field surveys, including geodetic computations, to establish accurate reference points.
Interface with subcontractors and other disciplines to determine and verify project survey requirements.
Complete the surveying requirements on schedule and within man-hour and cost budgets.
Check and verify setting-out points and levels, as well as service locations to ensure accuracy in site work.
Prepare sketches to support the field work and maintain survey records, including field books, sketches, and calculation reports.
Assist engineers in verifying and checking shop drawings against actual site conditions.
Conduct routine checks and verification of control points, benchmarks, and site elevations.
Record initial and final levels of works, verify earthwork cross-sections, and measure inspected works.
Assist in preparing and reviewing as-built drawings to ensure accuracy in project records.
Actively participate in on-site health and safety protocols as required by the Resident Engineer and Project Safety Representative.
3. QUALIFICATIONS
Diploma in surveying, engineering, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction surveying, including buildings, roads, and external works.
Strong knowledge of land surveying principles, techniques, and geodetic calculations.
Experience using total stations, GPS, and levelling equipment.
Expertise in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
Valid UAE driving license preferred.

Pay: AED5,500.00 - AED6,500.00 per month
