Job Summary:

The Senior HVAC Technician is responsible for leading, performing, and supervising the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role ensures optimal performance, energy efficiency, and compliance with safety and quality standards. The technician also provides technical guidance to junior staff and assists in troubleshooting complex HVAC issues.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF/VRV systems, split units, and exhaust systems.

Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in HVAC equipment and components.

Perform preventive and corrective maintenance according to established schedules.

Monitor and record operating parameters of HVAC systems to ensure efficient performance.

Troubleshoot and repair refrigeration systems, compressors, condensers, and control panels.

Check and adjust refrigerant levels, replace filters, belts, motors, and other components as needed.

Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer manuals.

Ensure all HVAC activities comply with safety, health, and environmental standards.

Supervise and train junior technicians or apprentices.

Assist in planning and implementing energy-saving and system improvement projects.

Coordinate with other departments (electrical, mechanical, and plumbing) for integrated system operation.

Maintain accurate service and maintenance logs, job reports, and inventory records.

Respond promptly to emergency breakdowns and service calls.

Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum

5+ years of Gulf experience

in maintenance activities. Must hold an

ITI certification or Diploma

in the relevant technical category. Must have hands-on experience in troubleshooting, fault identification, and on-site repair activities. Must provide

previous experience certificates

for verification. Must possess

good communication skills in English

(verbal and written).
Job Type: Permanent

Pay: QAR2,000.00 - QAR2,300.00 per month
