Senior HR Officer
Job Title: Senior HR Officer
Department: Human Resources
Reports To: HR Manager / HR Director
Job Summary:
The Senior HR Officer is a key player in executing the company's human resources strategies and operations. This role handles a wide range of complex HR functions, including talent management, employee relations, performance management, and policy implementation. They act as a trusted advisor to both employees and line managers, ensuring HR practices are aligned with business objectives and legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Talent Acquisition & Onboarding:
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for mid-to-senior level positions.
  • Conduct interviews, facilitate selection processes, and make hiring recommendations.
  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth integration into the company.
  • Employee Relations:
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for complex employee relations issues, providing counsel and conflict resolution.
  • Conduct thorough and objective investigations when necessary.
  • Foster a positive work environment and high employee morale.
  • Performance Management:
  • Administer the company's performance appraisal cycle.
  • Coach and train managers on setting goals, providing feedback, and conducting effective performance reviews.
  • Compensation & Benefits:
  • Assist in the development and administration of compensation structures and benefits programs.
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and analysis to ensure market competitiveness.
  • Policy Development & Compliance:
  • Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures in line with best practices and labor laws.
  • Ensure company-wide compliance with all federal and state employment regulations.
  • HR Metrics & Reporting:
  • Analyze HR data (turnover, headcount, recruitment metrics) to identify trends and provide insights to management.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in a generalist HR role.
  • In-depth knowledge of HR principles, functions, and employment legislation.
  • Strong experience in talent acquisition, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is highly desirable.
