Job Description

1. Recruitment & Staffing

Preparing job descriptions and specifications. Posting job advertisements and sourcing candidates. Screening, shortlisting, and interviewing candidates. Coordinating with hiring managers for final selection. Managing onboarding and induction programs.

2. Employee Relations

Acting as a link between management and employees. Handling grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary actions. Ensuring a healthy and positive workplace culture. Conducting employee engagement and motivation programs.

3. Training & Development

Identifying skill gaps and training needs. Organizing training sessions, workshops, and development programs. Supporting career development and succession planning. Monitoring effectiveness of training initiatives.

4. Performance Management

Designing and implementing appraisal systems (KPIs, OKRs, etc.). Conducting performance reviews with managers. Providing feedback and career growth paths. Linking performance with rewards and recognition.

5. Compensation & Benefits

Designing salary structures, increments, and bonuses. Managing payroll and statutory deductions. Overseeing employee benefits (health insurance, allowances, retirement plans). Benchmarking compensation with industry standards.

6. Compliance & Legal

Ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations. Maintaining employee records and HR documentation. Drafting HR policies and employee handbooks. Managing workplace safety, diversity, and inclusion policies.

7. HR Administration

Maintaining employee attendance, leave, and absence records. Managing HRIS (Human Resource Information Systems). Preparing HR reports for management. Handling exit interviews and employee offboarding.

8. Strategic HR Role

Supporting organizational development and change management. Workforce planning based on company goals. Promoting employer branding and retention strategies. Advising leadership on people management strategies.
