As Senior HR Business Partner (Standardisation & Governance) for dnata you will partner with executive business and HR leaders to define, develop and design HR Policy, Procedure, IR strategy and Initiatives that will drive the standardisation of HR activities across a diversified and fragmented business landscape.

You will be responsible for the leadership and coordination of a global team of HR professionals for the effective implementation of the global governance HR requirements, HR frameworks and data analytics. The role will be based full-time in our Dubai office.

In this role, you will:
  • Lead all the One dnata HR initiatives to ensure a consistent baseline and frameworks are in place for the Manager Human Resources Businesses (Catering & Retail, AO & Travel Group) to operate within a consistent structure (i.e Industrial Relations, Local HR Policies and Procedure, Job Architecture, IT Systems)
  • Contribute to business strategy by defining an appropriate HR strategy that will drive Standardization across all the dnata businesses. Provide VP HRBP business insights and connections from internal networks, and ensure solutions are tailored to address the overall business needs.
  • Drive the People Data and Analytics dnata HR Strategy to support the reduction of number of systems from many to few while aligning the systems and the strategy to Group HRF and ERP long-term goals.
  • Establish and maintain an effective connection with HR community, ensuring cascade of one dnata HR strategy and a common understanding of global governance requirements, HR frameworks and group HR initiatives. Identify and assess gaps in implementation and propose a coordinated plan for resolution.
  • Lead a team of HR specialists to drive the investigations across international businesses to ensure cross-divisional application of HR standards and principles.
  • Monitor the implementation of, and compliance with, the dnata corporate governance framework in global businesses within the assigned portfolio. Highlight risk to senior executives as appropriate, and work with local businesses on rectification plans for identified gaps.
  • Act as Secretary of dnata Remuneration Committee that looks after the executive management total reward packages including variable pay design and implementation.
  • Act as the strategic liaison between Group Compensation team and dnata businesses to ensure there is a consistent review of the Total Rewards packages in line with the agreed divisional pay philosophies and within the dnata HR Frameworks while cascading Rem Co vision across all business units.
  • Overseeing the overall dnata global IR agenda to ensure cross-functional considerations are taken into account and negotiations in line with our IR strategy.
To be considered for this role, you must meet the below requirements:
  • Degree or Honours in HR, Business, Humanities or a relevant subject
  • Professional accreditation preferred (CIPD, AHRI or equivalent)
  • 10+ years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in an advisory or HR partnering role
  • Excellent financial skills and capability to translate in business language HR KPIs
  • Strong legal background
  • Management experience (preferred).
  • Able to understand business needs and anticipate future problems/risk, develop simple and effective solutions.
  • Connects internal problems with external knowledge and research, leverages networks to provide innovative recommendations to improve business results.
  • Strong collaboration focus to ensure shared goals are realised.
  • Ability to develop relationships with business leaders, act as a trusted advisor and coach, and influence decisions.
  • Analytical, ability to collect and synthesise large quantities of data, tell the story and formulate recommendations based on data trends and insights.
  • Adaptable, agile, open to change and ability to drive business change whilst motivating and engaging teams
