Senior Financial Accountant

Salary Range: 5,000 - 10,000 AED (based on experience)


We are looking for a

Senior Financial Accountant

to manage the end-to-end financial operations of Alba Corp and ensure compliance with UAE accounting standards.


This role suits a detail-oriented and analytical finance professional with at least 2 years of experience in a senior accounting position. Familiarity with UAE tax laws, reporting practices, and accounting systems is essential. The ideal candidate should be organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable working across teams. Key Responsibilities

Core Functions

Handle full-cycle accounting, including AP/AR, GL reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closings. Prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with local regulations. Monitor and manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting. Ensure adherence to UAE VAT regulations and timely tax filings.

Collaboration & Communication

Liaise with external auditors, banks, and government authorities. Coordinate with internal departments for financial data and reporting alignment. Support leadership with timely financial insights and decision-making tools. Communicate financial policies and procedures to relevant stakeholders.

Performance, Reporting & Compliance

Develop and maintain internal financial controls and documentation. Prepare and present monthly management reports and variance analyses. Assist in cost analysis, risk assessment, and strategic planning. Maintain compliance with IFRS and UAE-specific accounting requirements.

Requirements:

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Senior Accountant, preferably in the UAE. Strong understanding of UAE accounting standards and tax laws. Proficiency in accounting tools such as Tally, QuickBooks, Zoho Books, Oracle, or SAP. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA/CA preferred). Advanced Excel skills and analytical thinking. Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills. Fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
