Role

: We are looking for an experienced Strategic finance professional for a fast growing startup - with strong backing in Abu Dhabi.

The Senior Finance Specialist will oversee

financial planning, investment strategies, M&A activities, and joint venture partnerships,
ensuring the startup's financial sustainability and expansion into new opportunities. The ideal candidate is analytical, strategic, and experienced in high-value financial transactions within dynamic industries.

Reporting to

: Group Finance Director

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:



Financial Planning & Analysis:



Develop financial models to evaluate profitability, ROI, and cash flow projections. Provide strategic financial insights to support executive decision-making. Monitor financial performance, identifying trends and growth opportunities.

Accounting, Compliance & Reporting:



Prepare financial statements and reports in accordance with IFRS and UAE regulations. Ensure VAT, tax compliance, and regulatory adherence. Work with auditors on financial audits and reporting requirements.

Financial Systems & Process Optimization:



Implement financial software solutions for automation and efficiency. Develop internal financial policies to enhance governance and risk management. Optimize cost structures, ensuring long-term financial stability.

Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A):



Lead due diligence processes for potential acquisitions and mergers. Assess financial risks and valuation for prospective deals. Negotiate acquisition terms and financial structures to ensure seamless transactions. Collaborate with legal and compliance teams for M&A execution.

Investment & Fundraising:



Develop investment strategies aligned with company growth objectives. Manage relationships with investors, venture capital firms, and financial institutions. Prepare financial reports and pitch decks for funding rounds. Oversee investment portfolios and assess market opportunities.

Joint Ventures & Partnerships:



Identify strategic partnership and joint venture opportunities. Conduct feasibility studies and financial modeling for partnerships. Negotiate agreements, ensuring financial alignment with business objectives. Monitor joint venture performance and financial compliance.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:



Education & Experience:



Bachelor's degree

in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (

Master'sdegree preferred

).

5+ years of experience

in finance, M&A, investments, and joint venture management.

Industry experience

in digital media, tech startups, or financial consulting is a plus. Professional certifications such as

CPA, ACCA, CFA, or CMA

are highly desirable.

Finance & Analytical Skills:



Expertise in financial modeling, valuation, and M&A negotiations.

Strong understanding of

investment strategies, venture capital, and corporate finance.

Proven ability to analyze financial risks and market trends. Knowledge of

UAE financial regulations, tax structures, and legal frameworks.


Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED18,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month

Experience:
