Job Description

We are seeking a Sr. Finance Manager, a senior executive responsible for managing and leading the finance & accounts division of a real estate developer in Dubai. The candidate will work in tandem with the top management of the firm. Among their many responsibilities, they will oversee the capital structure and optimal financing options for the company, provide strategic direction, track cash flow, manage the accounting and finance departments, and ensure the companyaEUR(TM)s financial reports are accurate. The candidate will be responsible for building banking relationships, identifying and arranging financing, tracking all aspects of Receivables & Payables, and providing management with a dashboard on the activities and forecasts on a day-to-day basis. Duties and Responsibilities:

Work with senior managers to efficiently develop budget proposals, provide access to project finance information, and ensure contract compliance and reporting. Research revenue opportunities and economic trends, analyze internal operations, and identify areas for cost reduction and process enhancement. Perform risk management through analysis of company liabilities and investments, and evaluate and manage capital structure and fundraising initiatives. Oversee operations by coordinating with external agencies (e.g., payroll, benefits, recruitment) and internal staff responsible for other aspects of HR. Monitor business performance with tracking tools, establish corrective measures as needed, and prepare detailed reports for earnings calls and management updates. Manage finance personnel and financial IT systems, ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory entities. Knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and Auditing standards; should be able to guide the finance team and carry out tasks related to internal & external audits and tax filings. Must be able to constantly monitor the companyaEUR(TM)s financial health and project fund flows, finance planning, and provide management with a dashboard of the companyaEUR(TM)s health and commitments. Conversant with Dubai Land Department processes and procedures, such as opening & managing Escrow accounts and getting funds released from Escrow accounts. Requirements:

Proven experience as a Sr. Finance Manager, Finance Officer, or relevant role in a real estate development firm or real estate brokerage, with in-depth knowledge of corporate financial law and risk management practices followed in the UAE. Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods. Proficient in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle Netsuite). An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers. Certified Public Accountant is a plus. At least 5 years of experience in a senior management role is a must. Minimum of 15+ years of proven experience in accounting and financial management practice, with at least 5 years of that in the UAE. #J-18808-Ljbffr
