who will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, budgets, and proposals for interior fit-out projects.
This role requires strong technical knowledge of materials, methods, and current market rates, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with design, project management, and procurement teams.
Key Responsibilities
Review project drawings, specifications, and tender documents to prepare detailed cost estimates.
Perform quantity take-offs and prepare bills of quantities (BOQ).
Obtain, analyze, and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations.
Develop and manage project budgets, value engineering options, and cost-saving strategies.
Coordinate with project managers, designers, and clients to ensure estimates align with project goals.
Prepare tender submissions, bid proposals, and cost reports.
Track and update cost databases and pricing libraries to reflect current market trends.
Mentor junior estimators and contribute to process improvements within the estimating department.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5-10 years of experience
in estimating within the
interior fit-out industry.
Proven experience preparing accurate and competitive tenders for commercial, retail, or hospitality , residential projects.
Strong knowledge of finishes, materials, MEP integration, and construction methodologies.
Proficiency in estimation software (e.g., PlanSwift, or similar).
Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
