Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of ES&H programs, systems, and procedures.
• Ensure alignment with ES&H standards and federal, state, and authority regulatory requirements.
• Maintain expert-level knowledge of relevant governmental and regulatory frameworks.
• Apply advanced techniques to resolve environmental and safety challenges across complex project environments.
• Oversee hazards prevention, occupational health monitoring, and workplace exposure controls.
• Investigate incidents, injuries, and safety-related complaints, recommending corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement through enhanced processes, procedures, and equipment controls.
• Develop and conduct ES&H training programs, emergency preparedness, and awareness initiatives.
• Provide regulatory interpretation, technical advice, and compliance guidance to project teams.
• Prepare ES&H reports, performance metrics, and management summaries.
• Carry technical responsibility for major project phases or specific ES&H components.
• Serve as a lead professional for ES&H specialists and support personnel, ensuring quality delivery.
• Monitor environmental performance and support sustainability-focused practices across project execution.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 15+ years of ES&H experience within infrastructure or construction projects.
• Knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and international safety frameworks.
• Proven success in implementing and managing safety management systems.
• Strong analytical, incident investigation, and emergency planning capabilities.
• Effective communicator with strong influence across multiple organizational levels.
• Skilled in risk assessment, reporting, and safety software systems.
• CSP or equivalent professional safety certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of UAE regulatory requirements and ES&H expectations.
