Job Description

Prepare and manage the execution of yearly preventive maintenance plan for assets to carry on comprehensive maintenance service that reduces troubles and interruption to building operation by utilizing effectively Civil team's manpower to perform specific technical tasks and time-controlled checklist, issued and measured with monthly work orders closure, while controlling on operational budget expenditure Drive Civil team attendance and rectification of daily trouble reports to sustain business continuity and safe building operation by prioritizing troubles, coaching team on troubleshooting techniques, and assisting recovery of service within agreed times as per service level agreement with internal clients Maintain Civil assets' life to deliver optimized operational performance by conducting and preparing asset condition reports which is necessary for taking a decision in planning assets' replacement/refurbishment/upgrade and compare costing of operation and capital on yearly basis Supervise outsourced services and contracted jobs to ensure quality of deliverables and to protect value of assets, with compliance to local authorities regulations Develop assets' function to enhance productivity and reduce operational cost by studying business requirements and operational demand Follow and adhere to standards operational procedures, quality standards, health & safety requirements, security requirements Support management on assigned responsibilities, new proposals, ROI, on-going projects and installations to achieve section's performance targets and excel in operation

Operating Environment

Though this position is stationed, the engineer will be required to perform frequent site visits to check on maintenance operation, reported troubles and breakdowns Some of the assets' location may be in plant, electrical, and head-end rooms where machines exist in operational mode Occasionally, there may be relevant works in an outdoor area

Formal Education

University Degree in B.Sc. in Civil/Structural Engineering

Work Experience

At least 7 years' relevant experience in operating and maintaining buildings' assets, design and structural calculation

Skills & Knowledge

Weight calculations: bearing load, wind effect, operating load... etc.

Pay: AED16,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
