Job Description

Position: Senior Engineer - Civil & Structural (Onshore)

Location: Doha, Qatar

Duration: 3 Months & Ext

Industry: Oil & Gas / Industrial Projects

Salary:10000 QAR to 13000 QAR

Local candidates with freelance visa only required



Job Role:



Candidate must have more than 10 years' experience in brownfield engineering design (Concept, FEED and detailed design phase) of oil and gas sector, in the middle East preferably Qatar

Candidate shall be fully conversant with International codes and standards specially BS EN and American codes along with Shell DEPs, QCS (Qatar Construction Specifications)

Experience in working with Oryx, Qatar will be an added advantage

Candidate must have prior experience in brownfield layout development including drainage design

Candidate must be able to provide inputs and review architectural deliverables for new building

Candidate must have good experience in design of concrete building and steel structures including various pipe supports, pipe bridge, platforms and its foundations

Candidate must have good experience in adequacy checks of existing structures

Candidate must have experience in preparing material take-off

Candidate must be having good experience in preparation of engineering calculations by Staad Pro Connect and Mat3D software.

Candidate must have prior experience in carrying out site surveys, as required to prepare engineering deliverables

Candidate must have prior experience in Client co-ordination, attending internal and external meetings.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: QAR10,000.00 - QAR13,000.00 per month
