Senior Engineer - Civil Maintenance

Job Summary

The Senior Engineer - Civil Maintenance is responsible for overseeing building maintenance activities, conducting site inspections, and ensuring all civil works meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards. The role includes reviewing designs, managing contractors, preparing technical reports, and ensuring preventive and corrective maintenance is carried out efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve civil engineering issues across assigned buildings. Provide technical input during design, development, and implementation phases. Conduct preventive maintenance surveys and schedule corrective maintenance activities. Prepare design documents, specifications, BOQs, cost estimates, and technical reports. Review contractor submissions, verify invoices, and support tender evaluations. Perform site inspections to ensure compliance with construction standards and quality requirements. Monitor snag rectification and follow up with contractors during maintenance periods. Manage documentation including as-built drawings, warranties, and maintenance records. Develop and monitor maintenance schedules for all assigned sites. Supervise and guide technicians to ensure high performance and safe work practices. Stay updated on new technologies and industry developments. Support annual budget preparation related to civil works and maintenance operations.

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering. 15-20 years of experience in civil engineering or building maintenance. Strong knowledge of building standards, materials, and construction codes. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and project management tools (e.g., Primavera). Valid UAE driving license (mandatory). Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED20,000.00 per month
