Senior ELV Engineer

Role Overview:

The Senior ELV Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, supervision, and management of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems, IT infrastructure, and security solutions for diverse projects. The role requires expertise in project execution, stakeholder coordination, technical compliance, and the delivery of high-quality engineering solutions aligned with project specifications and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & Planning

Review and validate design drawings, material submittals, and specifications for IT, ELV, and security systems. Integrate ELV designs with architectural, civil, structural, and MEP disciplines to ensure coordinated project delivery. Conduct feasibility studies and requirement analysis for new projects.

Project Execution

Oversee on-site implementation of ELV systems including Structured Cabling Systems (SCS), CCTV, Access Control Systems (ACS), Public Address (PA), Background Music (BGM), Building Management Systems (BMS), and related technologies. Supervise and monitor contractors, site labor force, and technicians to ensure compliance with approved drawings and standards. Manage day-to-day site operations, inspections, testing, commissioning, and documentation to achieve project milestones.

Stakeholder Management

Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and local authorities to ensure timely approvals and smooth execution. Prepare progress reports, project schedules, handover documents, and as-built drawings. Communicate project updates effectively to senior engineers and clients.

Team Leadership & Management

Lead and mentor teams of engineers and technicians for effective project delivery. Allocate and manage manpower and resources as per project requirements. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality standards across all project phases.

Technical & Commercial Support

Provide technical input during project bidding, design review, and procurement stages. Support account management by retaining and expanding client relationships, ensuring successful project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills:

Bachelor's Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering. Master of Business Administration (MBA - Marketing), SBS Swiss Business School, Zurich. Post Graduate Certificate in International Management, RIMS Bangalore. 13+ years of proven experience in ELV Systems, IT Infrastructure, and Security Systems. Certifications: RHCE (Red Hat Certified Engineer) HPE Sales Certified (Aruba Products & Solutions) Clearone Pro-Audio Technical Specialist Strong knowledge of IT/ELV design, implementation, and project management. Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools (Aconex, Salesforce, V-Tiger, MS Project). Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical problem-solving skills. Familiar with UAE authority requirements and approval processes.
