Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, test, assemble, disassemble, and inspect electro-mechanical assemblies and drilling tools.
  • Perform complex diagnostic testing and fault identification with minimal supervision.
  • Repair, modify, and rework non-conforming equipment to restore operational standards.
  • Break down, redress, and reassemble oilfield tools for redeployment in drilling operations.
  • Ensure compatibility of equipment with job requirements and other operational tools.
  • Apply logical troubleshooting techniques to identify and resolve technical issues.
  • Provide coaching and technical support to junior technicians and field personnel.
  • Maintain compliance with ADNOC Drilling HSE policies and asset integrity management codes.
  • Maintain tools, lifting equipment, and safety gear in safe working condition.
  • Contribute to method statements, technical reporting, and near miss documentation.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives in maintenance processes and operational efficiency.
Ideal Profile
  • High School Diploma.
  • Minimum 4 years of maintenance experience in mechanical or industrial environments such as oilfield, airline, military, or automotive sectors.
  • Working knowledge of forklift, crane, and torque machine operations.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
  • Familiarity with company standards, procedures, and asset integrity requirements.
  • Basic computer literacy and English communication skills.
