Job Summary

The position of Electrical Control System Administrator (ECSA) falls under This Company\'s Power Systems Department and aims to attract highly skilled and motivated professionals. The ECSA will be a part of the SCADA and Automation Systems Maintenance Unit (SASMU) within the Power Operation and Control Division (PO&CD). The primary responsibilities of the successful candidate will be to drive innovation and collaborate with equipment suppliers and contractors to enhance the design, installation, maintenance, and reliability of PSA/SCADA systems and network. The ECSA will also be responsible for providing technical support to the company, including design, standards, commissioning, investigations, and security aspects related to PSA/SCADA systems\' functionality.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure reliable and secure operation of the PSA/SCADA system infrastructure.
• Manage and maintain business continuity of the PSA/SCADA system.
• Monitor PSA/SCADA networks for error-free and secure operation, and ensure acceptable performance levels.
• Provide commissioning and startup support for electrical networks and systems.
• Maintain awareness of SAES standards and SAEP procedures for Power system Automation and their latest versions.
• Serve as the technical expert for power systems or operating facilities in the fields of networking and systems.
• Specify hardware, software, and application functionality.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior colleagues.
• Function as a role model and promoter of safety practices at work.
• Perform work with little or no supervision.
• Take a leading role in investigating, root-causing, and resolving availability, performance, and security issues in the PSA/SCADA networks and systems, ensuring timely resolution of all problems encountered.
• Manage and maintain automation network firewalls between the Automation Network and the control centers and DMZ.
• Oversee the power systems cyber security program, preventing, detecting, and timely correcting cyber security incidents and risks.
• Assess vulnerabilities and take actions to close security holes.
• Define or provide guidance for function requirements and specifications, and perform hardware/software selections, final system specification, system design, integration, and testing for specific projects.
• Participate in proof-of-concept demonstrations of new industrial network technologies in the plant.

Requirements:

• Bachelor\'s Degree in Engineering
• 7+ years\' experience in managing SCADA field
• Full knowledges on SAES standards and SAEP procedures for Power system Automation and their latest versions.
