Architectural Draftsman (High-Rise Buildings)

Location: DIFC, Dubai, UAE.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architectural Draftsman with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the design and documentation of high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong drafting skills, a thorough understanding of architectural design principles, and a working knowledge of interior design concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed architectural drawings including plans, sections, elevations, and details using AutoCAD and other relevant software (e.g., Revit). Develop 3D models of building components and assemblies using BIM software (e.g., Revit). Assist in the development of interior design concepts, including space planning, material selection, and furniture layouts. Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other project stakeholders to ensure design consistency and constructability. Prepare presentation drawings and 3D visualizations for client presentations. Conduct site visits to gather information and verify design details. Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation. Assist in the preparation of construction drawings and specifications. Stay updated on the latest industry trends and technologies in architectural design and drafting.

Qualifications:

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Architecture or a related field. Minimum 10 years of experience in architectural drafting and design, with a strong focus on high-rise building projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD and other relevant drafting software (e.g., Revit). Strong understanding of architectural design principles and construction methodologies. Working knowledge of interior design concepts, including space planning, material selection, and furniture layout. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Experience working in Dubai (preferred).
