Job Description
Job Overview: The functional leader for Offshore Middle East QHSES team personnel. Develops and maintains the QHSES Strategy for the organization. Taking the Lead culture program across the business. Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Ensures QHSES strategies are communicated effectively, understood, and implemented across the offshore Middle East organization for Fabrication, Marine, Project Management, Engineering, SCM and support operations
- Works with the Global QHSES Organization to implement Global processes, systems, and activities within the offshore Middle East organization
- Measures and continuously improves the effectiveness of the offshore Middle East QHSES function and processes and conducts annual management review of the management system
- Manages QHSES functional budgets for offshore Middle East
- Understands and provides necessary support to the Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental and Security systems, and processes for all aspects of the Middle East operations
- Monitors effectiveness of and assists in implementation of the QHSES Business Management System.
- Prepares annual offshore QHSES program and activity plans.
- Maintains adequate levels of competent QHSES personnel across the offshore Middle East organization to support all projects
- Mentors and develops QHSES personnel.
- Develops and issues regular reports for all aspects of QHSES within the offshore Middle East organization
- Drives continual improvement of Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental and Security processes throughout the offshore Middle East organization
- Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in relevant discipline
- Over 20 years within the Energy Industry through all phases of EPCI project delivery and offshore projects
- Full understanding of Quality, Health, Safety, Environmental and Security processes
- Ability to work as a team member as well as act as team leader.
- Have wide experience with technical activities (Welding, Inspection etc.) for on and offshore operations.
- Maintain key competencies associated with the complete QHSES function
- Communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken.
- Computer literate on Microsoft programs: Word, Access, Power Point, Excel, Project.
