Job Overview:The global functional leader for offshore pipeline production personnel and activities. Oversees and assumes accountability for global pipeline production operations and expertise, including the Center of Excellence. Develops and drives the pipeline production strategy and execution for the organization. Works closely with Marine Operations leadership, business leadership and clients to ensure success and implement improvements across projects. Key Tasks and Responsibilities: Provides leadership and direction through senior managers in welding engineering, operations and subject matter experts. Is accountable for the performance and results of offshore pipeline production planning and operations for company vessels worldwide. Measures and continuously improves the effectiveness of pipeline production operations and processes, maintaining and monitoring key performance indicators. Drives pipeline production strategic thinking and action across the organization. Ensures pipeline production strategies, procedures, and responsibilities are communicated effectively and understood globally across the organization. Responsible for pipeline production organization budgets globally across the organization, including the Center of Excellence. Maintains adequate levels of competent personnel across the business and mentors staff for succession planning Develops and promotes a culture in line with the company's values through the functional group Establishes pipeline production strategy, including R&D priorities and plans, Communicates and maintains relationships with key suppliers and vendors for welding, NDT and field joint coatings. Maintains an understanding of competition and innovation in the industry to monitor upcoming changes Other duties related to pipeline production, as directed by supervisors.e Center of Excellence. Develops and drives the pipeline production strategy and execution for the organization. Works closely with Marine Operations leadership, business leadership and clients to ensure success and implement improvements across projects. Essential Qualifications and Education: Degree in Engineering, Construction and/or Project Management Over 10 to 20 years within the offshore construction industry primarily within pipeline production roles Ability to provide leadership and organizational direction to newly formed pipeline production department. Have wide experience with technical activities, including in-depth knowledge of welding, coating and non-destructive testing processes and requirements. Communication and presentation skills, both written and spoken. Extensive functional, business, industry and leadership expertise.
