The Opportunity
The successful Senior Digital Marketing Specialist will be developing and supporting the overarching digital marketing strategy and digital marketing projects across the MEA region. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, they will be overseeing and driving regional digital marketing projects from planning to delivery, ensuring that projects meet established business objectives, time and budget constraints while achieving consumer engagement & conversion goals.
Based in Dubai, this full time, permanent position works in close alignment with various MEA departments (marketing team, customer service and sales) to ensure compliance to internal guidelines and implement efficient and effective use of existing content and content to be developed, and in close collaboration with the EMEA digital teams.
Your responsibilities will include...
Developing the regional digital and social media marketing campaign plan for products (launch, awareness and promotional) and rehabilitation, in coordination with the MEA & EMEA internal stakeholders
Supporting the development of the MEA Digital marketing strategy in line with the MEA & EMEA marketing strategy
Adapting MEA digital material and develop local digital marketing material in cooperation with local partners and agencies for the various target groups (e.g., recipients/ parents, medical professionals, health care providers.)
Supporting MEA Marketing Manager in determining the most efficient and effective budget allocation for special projects/campaigns and support the tracking of spending, including forecasting and reporting processes.
Aligning with EMEA Marketing Communications & Digital Teams, utilizing, and maintaining various tools and databases, considering Cochlear's document management standards and processes.
About You:
Bachelor or comparable degree in Marketing or Business Administration
3-5 years total work experience, thereof min. 4 years in digital marketing/communications.
Experience in digital marketing and working cross-functionally in projects or daily business
Excellent written and verbal communication/social skills
Strong in reporting and analysis
Able to identify business needs, taking initiative to provide ideas and solutions and taking accountability for them
Excellent application of MS Office, CRM-Software (Salesforce), Email software (Outlook)
Language Skills/ Proficiency:
English (fluent written and spoken)
Arabic (fluent written and spoken)
Ideal:
Experience in Product Lifecycle Management, life sciences industry
Experienced working in/with emerging markets
Experience in highly regulated environment e.g. Med tech, Med devices, Pharmaceuticals
Developmental Value of the role:
As a Senior Digital Marketing Specialist, you will be engaging with broad set of internal stakeholders in EMEA and MEA Teams which can require you to occasionally partake in international travel (e.g. Middle East/Europe/Africa). You also will be working across a portfolio of products and markets in MEA, interacting with people from different cultural backgrounds.
