Job Description

Title:Senior Designer I - Technical Safety

· Develop the design and drafting of piping and instrumentation drawings for fire water network on providing basic utility flow diagrams or fire water schematics. · Independently handles development of Fire Fighting Equipment layout, F&G layout, Escape Routes, Hazardous Area Classification layout etc. · Should be able to develop 3D model for firewater network and escape route layouts etc. · Co-ordinate with Process, mechanical and Piping Drafting/Engineering Teams to obtain technical details of the technical safety equipment or piping to develop the 2D and 3D drawings. · Present the piping 3D models to the other disciplines to facilitate clear understanding of the safety equipment and comment. · Review vendor and in-house coordination drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements. · Able to extract reports /drawings/ Clash checks from the E3D modeling software. · Performs a check on compliance with the layout rules specific to engineering design. · Able to extract piping line list, equipment design information from CAD or E3D model. · Able to complete line list with complete details including hydrotest requirements. · Review and check bill of material reports extracted from models. Assist in checking the drawings when required.

Qualification

Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in relevant Technical Field and/or at least 12-15 years of experience in the O&G Industry (preferably Onshore Oilfield Projects).

Experience

Must have Oil & Gas brownfield experience: A minimum of 5 years with a total of 15+ years' experience.

Skilled and experienced AUTO CAD, MicroStation and other 2D software's and E3D Piping Design and Equipment modelling.

Good conversational English.

Proficient in all E3D related and supporting software.

Good understanding on Fire & Gas Detection and Suppression systems drawings preparation
