Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled
Senior Design Engineer - Mechanical
to lead the design and development of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems for MEP projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing heat load calculations, duct sizing, and piping design while ensuring compliance with local codes and project specifications.Key Responsibilities:
Design and oversee
HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems
for commercial and industrial projects. Performheat load calculations, duct sizing, and piping layouts
using industry-standard tools. Ensure all designs comply withASHRAE, NFPA, and Qatar Construction Standards (QCS)
. Prepare and review design drawings, schematics, and equipment schedules. Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams throughout project execution. Provide technical support, design reviews, and mentorship to junior engineers.*
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
(Master's preferred). Minimum10 years of experience in MEP mechanical design
for large-scale projects. Proficiency inHAP, Revit, and AutoCAD
. Strong knowledge ofASHRAE, NFPA, and QCS standards
. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project coordination skills.*
