Black & Grey HR is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading developer in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Our client is seeking a Senior Delivery Manager (Infrastructure) who will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of infrastructure packages within a large-scale development program. Working closely with the Infrastructure Director, this role actively contributes to the development and execution of delivery strategies while ensuring compliance with regulations and organizational standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and supervise the overall delivery of diverse infrastructure packages, including full utilities services, utilities plants, bulk utilities, connections, smart infra, roads, bridges, and interchanges.

- Collaborate with the Infrastructure Director to develop and execute delivery strategies, ensuring successful implementation from inception to project handover.

- Lead and provide guidance to project teams and stakeholders in steering the delivery management and coordination of infrastructure projects.

- Formulate and implement policies and procedures to optimize the efficiency of infrastructure delivery processes.

- Effectively manage contracts involving all relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

- Collaborate with infra design managers to establish project design scope and craft Request for Proposals (RFPs).

- Initiate and oversee the design consultant procurement process, offering technical support for tender compliance and successful awards.

- Supervise the progress of design, vigilantly monitoring timelines for punctual completion and adherence to budgetary constraints. Prepare comprehensive reviews for higher management.

- Advocate for the integration of best practices, emerging technologies, and innovative methodologies in project delivery.

- Ensure that designs by consultants meet the requisite regulations and standards.

- Optimize design solutions, emphasizing construct-ability, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and alignment with organizational standards.

- Manage technical designs reviews and approvals, aligning them with industry standards and organizational objectives.

- Facilitate coordination among various project disciplines to guarantee seamless integration and efficient design interfaces.

- Promote sustainable and innovative infrastructure solutions, including green infrastructure and smart infrastructure systems.

- Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholder interactions, nurturing and managing relationships to facilitate efficient problem resolution.

- Supervise the adherence to safety protocols, ensuring designs comply with safety standards and fostering a safety-conscious culture.

- Exhibit exceptional communication skills to address effectively and resolve issues throughout the project delivery lifecycle.

- Identify and mitigate risks associated with infrastructure systems, interfaces, compliance, and data security.

- Stay updated on industry advancements and best practices, leading initiatives to enhance the efficiency of infrastructure design.

- Oversee project delivery, ensuring timely completion within budget constraints and alignment with program goals and objectives.

- Provide support to the broader team and logistics team on matters related to logistics.

- Manage the seamless handover of projects to end users, offering close-out documentation, training, and maintenance and operations manuals.

- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying avenues for innovation, and implementing best practices.

- Compile and disseminate lessons learned to foster continuous enhancement in project delivery.

Requirements

- Bachelor\'s degree in civil engineering, construction, or project management; master\xe2\x80\x99s degree preferred.

- 15+ years of experience in infrastructure projects, project management, and site operations..

- Strong knowledge of infrastructure planning principles and regulatory requirements.
