What You'll Do

• Design, build, and test scalable data pipelines and architectures using Azure and Databricks
• Evaluate and integrate SAP and non-SAP data sources for business insight delivery
• Translate business requirements into technical and functional specification documents
• Participate in early-stage design discussions and identify future data insight opportunities
• Rapidly prototype data models to demonstrate value and support decision-making
• Collaborate across engineering teams to operationalize and support data-driven products
• Support analytics and visualization tools including Alteryx, Power BI, and Azure platforms
• Ensure CI/CD best practices through Azure DevOps pipeline deployment
• Provide mentorship and leadership to internal and external team members
• Work across agile and waterfall projects to deliver solutions on time and to specification

Ideal Profile

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, with strong Azure and Databricks expertise
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field
• Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Event Hub, Databricks, PySpark, Spark SQL, Mongo DB, Graph DB
• Skilled in deploying pipelines using Azure DevOps and managing Databricks clusters, Unity Catalog, SCIM integrations, and external locations
• Deep understanding of structured and unstructured data processing and optimization
• Proven ability to build reusable, high-performance pipelines in real-time and batch processing environments
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Team player who thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment
• Certifications in Azure Data Fundamentals and Databricks are preferred
