Key Responsibilities

• Design, document, develop, test, and implement rapid data prototypes to demonstrate business value to stakeholders.
• Participate in early-stage solution design and feature definition to shape future data and analytics initiatives.
• Translate business requirements into technical and functional specification documents.
• Build, manage, and optimize reusable and scalable data pipelines to support analytics and reporting needs.
• Support reporting and analytics teams using tools such as Power BI, Alteryx, and Azure-based services.
• Integrate new data streams into the Azure Data platform, ensuring reliability, accessibility, and structured delivery.
• Collaborate closely with engineering and analytics teams to share knowledge and best practices.
• Support the transition of successful prototypes into core analytics and intelligence products.
• Operate effectively within agile and waterfall delivery models to ensure timely and high-quality outcomes.

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in data engineering, with strong exposure to Azure and Databricks environments.
• Hands-on expertise in building big data pipelines, architectures, and analytical datasets.
• Strong proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL across relational and non-relational databases.
• Experience using Azure DevOps for CI/CD deployment of data pipelines.
• Azure Data Fundamentals and Databricks certifications are advantageous.
